Mission Statement

Indiana Farm Bureau promotes agriculture through public education, member engagement, and by advocating for agricultural and rural needs.

Purpose of Farm Bureau

Farm Bureau is an independent, non-governmental, voluntary organization governed by and representing farm and ranch families united for the purpose of meeting the challenges of agriculture in the 21st century. Those opportunities include educational improvement, economic opportunity and social advancement and, thereby, to promote the national well-being. Farm Bureau is the voice of agricultural producers at all levels.

The American Farm Bureau Federation is the unified national voice of agriculture, working through our grassroots organization to enhance and strengthen the lives of rural Americans and to build strong, prosperous agricultural communities.

Johnson County Farm Bureau is dedicated to raising public awareness of agriculture and how food is produced to meet the needs of a growing global population. Education is emphasized with a focus on youth, working with county schools, FFA chapters and 4-H members.
